The images of mystic Dotted Lake look unreal. If you come by near Osoyoos (South Okanagan, British Columbia, Canada) do not miss the chance to visit one of the most strangest lakes in the world. It is called Osoyoos Lake but it is also famous by names like Dotted Lake or Spotted Lake.
There are plenty of strange dots there on it and it looks like it is totally from other planet. Actually it is contained of a lot of little lakes. It is believed that water in this lake has some healing power since it very rich with minerals.
Spotted Lake contains one of the world’s highest concentrations of minerals: magnesium sulfate, (Epsom Salts); calcium and sodium sulfates; plus 8 other minerals and traces of 4 more, including silver and titanium. In the hot sun of summer, the water of Spotted Lake evaporates and crystallizes the minerals, forming many white-rimmed circles: shallow pools that reflect the mineral content of the water in shades of blue and green.
