Burning Man is aneight-day annual event held in the BlackRock Desert in northern Nevada,in the United States. It takes its name from the ritual burning of a largewooden effigy on Saturday evening. The event is described by many participantsas an experiment in community, radical self-expression, and radicalself-reliance.
